Chapter 117
“You want to try messing with Charlotte? Go ahead. See what happens.”
The cold voice cut through the tension in the hallway. Heads snapped up, everyone searching for the source.
At the entrance stood a tall, striking guy who looked like he’d just walked out of a magazine. His blue and white jacket hung open, and his hands were buried in his pockets. There was nothing friendly about his face as he strode forward.
“It’s Andrew! Why’s he here?” a girl near the front whispered, excitement bubbling in her voice.
If this school had a real superstar, it was Andrew. He came from the Blair family, which everyone knew was kind of a big deal. He was rich, good-looking, and basically every girl’s crush.
Next to him, Dennis looked like just another wannabe tough guy.
“Tch, Dennis, that mark on your forehead is a real fashion statement,” Parrish teased as he followed behind Andrew, blowing a bubble with his gum and grinning like he owned the place.
Andrew usually did his own thing. Unless you got in his way, he’d ignore the drama. But today he’d walked in just as someone was picking on her…
There was no way he could let this go.
As Andrew came closer, Olivia’s face went pink. She bit her lip and tried to sound sweet. “Andrew, it’s been a while.”
Her cheeks were glowing and there was a hint of bashfulness in her eyes.
Olivia was the girl everyone talked about, the one all the guys tried to impress. But she only had eyes for Andrew. In her mind, they were meant to be.
Andrew glanced her way.
Olivia’s heart jumped. She looked at him, all hope and adoration, about to say something else.
But he cut her off.
“Who are you? Do we even know each other?”
The words hit harder than a slap. Olivia’s smile faltered and her cheeks stung with embarrassment.
Did he really just say that? He didn’t know her? She was the most popular girl at school. How could Andrew not know her?
Before she could even process it, Andrew had already walked over to Charlotte. He gave her a sly, lopsided smile.
“Charlotte, that was epic.”
The way she’d handled that water bottle? Seriously cool.
Wait… Was Andrew actually smiling at Charlotte?

She’d honestly thought she was different. But now…
Charlotte had only been at Vanguard High for what, a few weeks? And she’d already caught Andrew’s attention.
Why did that girl always have to be so good at getting what she wanted? Why did she go after other people’s guys?
Olivia’s hands clenched at her sides. She bit down on her lip so hard ite nearly bled. Her watery gaze was locked on Charlotte, burning with jealousy. It was the kind of look that could cut right through you.
“Andrew, you and I have always minded our own business,” Dennis his attitude.

Dennis didn’t even see it coming. He hit the ground hard, knees buckling before he fell flat.
A chorus of shocked gasps rose from the crowd of girls.
