Even though it was technically a love scene, at least the lines weren’t too over the top. For that kind of money, Charlotte figured she could probably suck it up.
She frowned a little and flipped to the next page. Her face changed in an instant. What was with these explicit lines? Her finger froze mid-swipe. She lowered her lashes to hide the heat that flashed in her eyes and said, her voice cool, “I’m not doing it.”
Adonis had already started planning how to spend the ridiculous paycheck, but as soon as he heard her answer, his smile disappeared.
“Charlotte, why not?” he asked.
The job was easy, she didn’t have to show her face, and the pay was incredible. Honestly, it was perfect for her.

“I really can’t picture her saying lines like that,” Adonis muttered, rubbing his throat,

When Kenneth heard Charlotte was there, he rushed to the lounge without even bothering to put on his makeup.
