Charlotte straightened up, still trying to figure out how this woman was connected to the Blairs. Before she could piece it together, Lavinia came hurrying over in her heels and threw her arms around her. “Sweetie, this is fate. I can’t believe we’re running into each other here.”
The hug was a little much. Charlotte shifted uncomfortably and forced a polite smile. “Yeah, what a coincidence.”
“Are you and Andrew classmates?”
Lavinia didn’t let go of her hands. She looked at Charlotte with so much excitement, it was almost overwhelming.
Charlotte’s mind was spinning, but she answered honestly, “We’re in the same class.”
“The same class?” Lavinia’s grin grew so wide it looked like it might split her face. She seemed thrilled, like she’d just uncovered a secret. She had clearly wanted to introduce them, but now fate had beaten her to it.
“That’s wonderful.” Lavinia leaned in, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. “So, Sweetie, what do you think of Andrew?”
“Huh?”
Charlotte blinked at her, studying the woman’s face. There was something familiar about her features. And now that she looked closer, she noticed a faint resemblance between Lavinia and Andrew, but actually, Lavinia’s features reminded her more of someone else.
Before Charlotte could figure it out, Lavinia leaned close and whispered, “Andrew might seem a bit clueless sometimes, but he’s a good guy.”
Charlotte stared at her, stunned.
Wait. Was Lavinia trying to set her up with Andrew?
The sense of familiarity on Lavinia’s face was getting stronger, and suddenly Charlotte had a sinking feeling.

Matthew and Lavinia had Anthony. Daniel and Dorothy had Andrew
Norma had Emily.
If this beautiful lady was Andrew’s aunt, then she had to be Matthew’s wife. That meant she was Anthony’s mom.
Charlotte was speechless. Her expression must have looked pretty strange.
Her possible future mother-in-law was here, doing everything she could to set her up with Andrew.
Not even a drama series would dare write this.
“Sweetie, you still want to be my goddaughter, right?” Lavinia asked, a little nervous now that Charlotte had gone quiet.

Lavinia’s face lit up. She hugged her again, even closer this time. “Sweetie, you and Andrew are the same age, aren’t you?”

classmates, and you get along so well. You two really are perfect together.” Lavinia laughed. “Too bad
my own son is so old and only knows how to charm younger girls.”
Charlotte didn’t know what to say to that. She just stood there, at a complete loss.
