“If you do this to me, your parents won’t let you get away with it!” Jesse was sprawled on the floor, clutching his bleeding arm, his face twisted with pain and
rage.
Parents? The word made something cold flicker in Charlotte’s eyes.

Go join her? The color drained from Jesse’s face, leaving him almost ghostly. Was she really going to kill him?
