Lavinia held her phone, thinking it over, then opened Charlotte’s social media page. She figured she’d start with something cute to break the ice, so she sent over an adorable sticker.

At that moment, Charlotte was sprawled out on the couch, her long legs dangling over the armrest as she lazily played a game on her phone. When she saw a message pop up from “beautiful lady,” she arched her brows in surprise.

Charlotte barely remembered the whole rescue thing. It was just something she’d done on a whim and hadn’t thought about since.

Charlotte scrolled through the flood of messages, sensing how eager Lavinia was even through the screen.
There’s only bubble tea shops around my school.
Lavinia replied almost immediately. Oh, I love bubble tea too! Sweetie, this must be fate.
Charlotte stared at her phone. It was rare for someone as put-together and wealthy as Lavinia to actually want bubble tea, especially from one of those little shops near the school.
Fine, tomorrow at noon. I can only spare half an hour. Let’s meet at the bubble tea shop by the school gate.

Lavinia was so excited she practically flopped on top of Matthew, grinning from ear to ear. Honey, do you think we should invite Andrew too?
After all, both Charlotte and Andrew went to Vanguard High. Maybe they’d hit it off if they met.

Anthony’s eyes darkened a little. He tossed his towel aside, walked over, and leaned in close, bracing his hands on both sides of her. His lips curled up slightly who’s making you smile like that?
Huh? Charlotte didn’t look away, just glanced up at him. It’s just a beautiful lady I
met by chance. She wants to buy me bubble tea.
